Why American Idol Failed to Find Much Talent.....

Why did the television contest show American Idol fail to find much talent?

Because nobody with the heart and soul in voice would have the courage to withstand the onslaught of insult of that ruddy Englishman.

The Gouches 08 31 2010

The Gouches 08 31 2010

One gouche saw little Tommy was alone so he decided to beat him up.

The one gouche got another gouche and they went to beat up Tommy.

And Tommy beat them both up.

Those two beat up gouches got a third gouche and the three gouches went to beat up Tommy.

And Tommy beat up all three gouches.

The three gouches found a fourth and they found Tommy and started to pick on him.

Tommy beat up all four gouches.

The four gouches they knocked on the door of a fifth gouche and they went to beat up Tommy.

Damned if Tommy beat up all five gouches.

The five gouches went and found five more gouches and they encircled Tommy.

Tommy beat up all ten gouches good and they didn’t come back for more. They learned their lesson and never picked on anyone again.

I have exerted so much energy writing and typing 43 pages and 8000 new words between yesterday evening and now that I must now go and exercise or my bodies remaining form and energy will shrivel up and be absorbed into my skull and I will then implode.

On the Origin of Life

"The physical body of a human being can be considered energy unfolded into form. The energy being the emodiment of spirit. An idea of good formed the creative spirit into being, out of nothing. For the principal of this the idea of good being love. Love the only form of spirit strong enough that it could will the creation of itself. A creative spirit that then manifested itself into phsyical being in atomic form.

Another way to understand this origin of life principal is, "I think therefore I am and became." John Locke Was is credited for the first part, "I think therefore I am.""

The Nature of the Jealous Thief 05 13 2010

“The Nature of Jealous Thief” 05 13 2010

“To keep finding things wrong with someone or something until you convince them there is nothing right with them. And then pick up what they discarded in shame and say it’s yours or sell them something that is new and inferior, or unattainable, or upon attainment insubstantial. This works on so many levels.”

Blessed are those who can think for themselves and do.

The Articulated Grilling Spit 05 12 2010

The Articulated Grilling Spit 05 12 2010

Background, how many times have we eaten a roasted turkey that was cooked on a spit and wasn’t done on all ends. If there were only a spit that allowed for movement of the food along the line of the cooking axis. This could be actuated by a second hand crank for this separate function on the same spit, the spit thereby being able to be freely articulated along its axis for areas to be reached that otherwise were not reachable with a common spit. The actuation allowing for more even cooking and less undercooked spots. Marinated meats could be cooked to achieve more of a uniform “moistness” throughout, with this new articulated spit, as the meat as is often desired. The second linear mechanism would have to remain free from binding under temperature variations and built up waste, so we don’t miss any spots, as we articulate our spit.

Background, George Bernard Shaw once said and I am paraphrasing the quote, “If you put an Irishmen on a spit, there’s always another one ready to turn it.” Irishmen like to think of many variations of this spit. In summary, this invention, of a well articulated spit, would allow our spit to go places a traditional spit cannot.

Those who argue through attrition.

Types of People who argue through attrition.

Often this type of person was spoiled with too much attention when they were young and lead to believe they were born better than anyone else. This is what developed the ego that is not open to others ideas, and that is the most important part of the learning process. The attrition of their argument is a form of begging and this is how they best learned to get things when they were young. I also get the feeling that their parents thought they were better than anyone else and this was translated to the children’s behavior. It is not always the well to do that have this attitude it is also the woe always me’s, who feel they were unfortunate because they didn’t have any gifts at Christmas, and in reality lead to believe that those who have more are spoiled. Let them be beggars’ or motivate them in ways they would never recognize to do good for society with their wealth? Sometimes those who have more do good things with it but most often they do not. Sometimes we get mad at people as a last resort to get them to see our side of the argument, wouldn’t it be nice if they had developed the ability to listen in school. Sometimes those who have less spoil their kids with too much attention to overcompensate, these are often emotionally instable children and a distraction in the class room. The two opposite extreme forms of the same problem in society are:

1. The poor boy who bully’s because he is jealous.
2. And the rich kid who is jealous of the proper learning and parenting a poorer child got from his parents.
They both have learned to argue without listening.
A middle ground of understanding would seem to be best than either of these two extremes.

Blessed be those who think.

What qualifies me to write this article? I took many psychology courses during college and made many observations regarding this throughout my life.

Attrition in Argument

Attrition in Argument

Attrition never wins arguments. Can you truly win an argument through attrition? No. Attrition is the failure of having the ability to argue. Those who argue via attrition do not know how to address counter issues or even see any part of the issue from the other standpoint or point of view. Often those who argue with attrition accuse the other of weakness regarding opinion or stance without really taking the time for the initial understanding of the other side. This is because they have developed an ego that never allowed them to learn in school or in life. Those who argue via attrition are usually unjust and already know they have a lesser foundation but never human enough to admit it.

Blessed be those who think.

Todays Health Buddy Quote

Today’s Health Buddy Quote 05 10 2010

“You must be the change you see in this world” my father read to me this off the screen of his health buddy. And I agree with this but had to add a little sarcasm after many an endless bad day.
“Who wrote that?” I asked.
“Mahtama Gandhi.” My father replied.
I replied, “Well we are until we are chin deep in $h17 !”

Today's post has no relation or read into as to the prior post. In other words I have great respect for Gandhi. A quality I find very admirable in India Indians is that they are magnanimous with their advice. I mean they always have seemed to give good advice no matter how your mood is regarding whether you are feuding with them or not. Of course now that I have said this Murphy's law will try and prove me wrong. But I will give them credit that they have the fewer roads to hell that are paved with good intent, than any group I have known.

Complements and Human Nature

Complements and Human Nature 05 02 2010

My father and I started talking about complements today.

“A black lady at the gym today complemented me on my upper body development. I didn’t quite know what to day. People rarely give complements.” I said.

“What did you say?” My father asked.

“I didn’t know what to say, I just said “Thank you.”

“Sometimes they complement you when you are down and sometimes they put you down when you are up. I think you told me that.” He said.

“That’s just part of human nature.” He said.

“It’s the opposite of human nature. What separates us from the animals is we have a conscience.” I said.

Before I could continue he said, “That’s part of rationality.”

“Yes and that also separates us from animals. But it goes back to the bible, “Don onto others as you would have them do onto you.” I said.

“Mostly today people just like to insult you, to keep you down. A complement is a rarity. They tell you in business not to complement because it is a weakness and often regarded as insulting. I think that jealousy is not on the scale of human nature. It is somewhat lower.”

Erasing Embarrassing Moments?

"Have you ever caught someone in an embarrassing moment, act or expression. They
know it and so do you. And you probably have a good laugh to yourself for awhile. What happens next is after awhile they emphatically act out the opposite of what you saw them do to try and make you think that you didn't see what you first saw. You can be assured what you first saw is the truth, when you see them act out the appropriate behavior that they learned but did not follow. It's too late, people are not as dumb as you think.

Just consider it a matter of good human nature for them to try and erase their bad behavoir in this fashion and not an insult to your intelligence, "See, see I'm really not like that!"

Cursive; Why that call it that, because it is a curse to try to read someones version of it.

More thoughts from some time ago.

I had these thougths some time ago and wrote them in a journal. Some might need more explanation, but I understand them so I don't know what the "more" explanation would be and I am getting a headache doing this. Some of them now seem disturbing to me. I will let you be the judge. I am I cynic or a realist, or was I? They kind of read like an episode of He-Haw, so if you like that read on.

These are my thoughts and witticisms and my quotations, if you use them without my permission…it would not be good for me. Stay tuned this is just a small percentage of these I have on file. I just do not have all the time to sort, type and post these. But when I do I will let you know.
